Split

The largest city on the Adriatic Coast, seaside delight Split has been under Roman, Venetian, Austrian, French, Italian and Yugoslav control. Sites such as Diocletian’s Palace and Mausoleum, the Grgur Ninski Statue and the Cathedral and Bell Tower of St. Domnius justify its position as a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site. The city’s coves offer several lovely beaches, including central Bacvice and there is an abundance of lovely local restaurants and wine cellars.

Brac

Korcula Island

Korčula, birthplace of Marco Polo was built on the foundations of a Greek colony, a historical and tourist center of the largest island of the Dubrovnik area. It is famous for its streets shaped in the form of a fish bone and well-preserved Gothic- Renaissance buildings. Among them is the Cathedral of St . Marko, whose rich interior guards the works of great Italian painters. Korculans have preserved their customs and the medieval knight game ” Moreška ” that takes place on city streets. Mild Mediterranean cuisine will challenge the palates of the most demanding gourmets. Near the town of Korcula there is an archipelago of 20 uninhabited islands covered with dense thicket, and an accessible coastline. There is also the slightly larger islet of Badija with pebble beaches and a beautiful Franciscan monastery.

Hvar Island

After a blissful night’s sleep and a glorious sunrise, today is party day. Head for Hvar town and moor in the bay amidst the bustle and charms of this historic city. Make your reservation at Carpe Diem and spend the rest of the day exploring. Perhaps enjoy the magnificent spa facilities of Suncani Hvar before you get ready for a night on the town or call Hotel Amfora and they’ll come and pick you up so you can chill out on the private beach. Scedro

Along the south shore of the island of Hvar there is another small island of Šćedro. Protected as a nature park, in its untouched beauty, with many hidden coves, it provides an intimate experience to every visitor and once you feel the charm of those quiet coves, sweet aromas of nature and glimmering sun on crystal clear water you would want to stay forever . Since the Ancient times, Šćedro coves have been known as good places for anchorage and safe harbors. Furthermore, if time allow you, on the hill there is an old abandoned village called Nastane, which will take you back to history with its picturesque stone houses.

Lastovo

Take the short trip north-west for the delights of Korcula town. Anchor south of Badija islet or moor at the ACI marina, keeping an eye out for winds in the Pelesac Canal. Soak in the atmosphere of this astoundingly beautiful medieval city and explore its cobbled streets and alleyways. After a few hours in this ancient metropolis, head to the peace and tranquillity of luscious Lastovo island. Anchor in one of the two bays on either side of the bridge joining Lastovo to the island of Prezba, and take advantage of the hospitality of the Hotel Ladesta in Pasadur. Perhaps take a trip in the dinghy around the tiny islets or arrange a dive with the hotel. To round off your evening, dine casually at the hotel or at rustic Konoba Frenki by the bridge.

Vis

Sail to Vis town, looking out for dolphins. As you get closer you’ll see the canons on the top of the hill, a reminder of Vis’s wartime importance. Anchor in the deep, protected bay and take in the magnificent spectacle of the mountains, fortresses and the stately buildings. Hire a car and drive around the island, exploring the wine cellars and historical monuments, or take a trip to Tito’s wartime cave headquarters. Return to Vis town, stroll around and discover the Roman baths, or watch the world go by over a drink outside Hotel Tamaris. Finish off your evening in Kut, dining on Vila Kaliopa’s delightful terrace.

Sveti klement, Paklinski islands

Drive to Komiza in the morning and explore this lovely fishing village. Takeing a local boat to Bisevo islet to see the spectacular blue cave should be on your “to do” list while visiting Croatia. The cave is at its best just before noon when the sun is shining. Enjoy the freshest of lobsters or octopus at Konoba Bako and admire the collection of ancient relics that owner Tonko Borcic has recovered from his 30 years of diving in the area. Return to Vis town and your yacht and set sail for the Pakleni islands and Hvar. Tonight you’ll have your own paradise island, so drop anchor in Uvala Tarsce or Luka Soline on the south coast of Sv Klement, and take the dinghy to Pansion Meneghello for an unforgettable evening meal in the midst of an established Mediterranean Botanical Garden.
