Monaco – embarkation

Embarkation at midday in Monaco. This mythical place, between the Alpes and the Mediterranean sea offers a multitude of options and must-see places. Monte-Carlo provides you many discoveries, a highly cultured place with its many museums, nice welcome with its nicest hotels in the world, sumptuous gastronomy with his well-known restaurants. Enjoy dinner in the Hotel de Paris and spend the night in the port before casting off the following morning.

Villefranche

Motor around the corner to Villefranche-sur-Mer. You can enjoy a shore excursion here while your yacht lies at anchor in its beautiful bay: the old town, with its fishing boats, sixteenth-century citadel and the covered medieval rue Obscure running beneath the houses, is a charming place to while away an afternoon. Villefranche’s tiny harbour is overlooked by the medieval Chapelle de St-Pierre, decorated by Jean Cocteau in 1957 in shades he described as “ghosts of colours”. For dinner, try La Mere Germaine on the waterfront, or take a 20 minutes ride to Eze, to experience the culinary delicacies of Le Mas Provencal, a renowned and unique restaurant, or the two starred Michelin restaurant La Chevre d’Or.

St tropez

Take a trip over to St Tropez straight from Villefranche. Here you can combine rustic Provence and chic Côte d’Azur with a visit to the marketplace on Place des Lices in the morning, and an evening spent in the cafés around the harbour. The little town itself is a delight with its winding medieval streets of traditional pastel-painted fishermen’s cottages, boutiques and restaurants and its quaint port with fishing boats. Head for lunch the following day to Pamplonne Beach.

Porquerolles

As soon as you arrive at the port, you will be captivated by the island: behind the boats tied up to the quay, the first houses can be seen, surrounded by lush vegetation. The style and architecture of the existing houses blend harmoniously with the natural beauty of the site. This is a great place where to spend an afternoon relaxing and having some fun with the water-toys. Alternatively, immerse yourself in nature by taking an excursion to the Parc National de Port-Cros, one of the first French national parks. Dinner can be organized at the magnificent Le Mas du Langoustier, where the Michelin-Star restaurant will showcase all the Mediterranean flavours to your palate.

Iles des lérins (cannes)

The “Iles de Lérins” is a small archipelago off the coast of Cannes. The two main islands are Ste-Marguerite and St-Honorat. Ste-Marguerite is an exceptional island where nature, culture and relaxation join in total harmony. Barely disembarked, you will be captured by scents of pine and eucalyptus whilst St Honorat will enchant you with its fortress and Abbey. Ideal for a day enjoying the water sports in the bay of Cannes. Restaurant: La Guerite.

Cannes

Head back to Cannes for the evening and enjoy the nightlife ashore. Galas, regattas, the Film Festival and an outrageously attractive and affluent set characterize Cannes and the town lives up to its motto, “Life is a festival.“ People-watching is the activity that brings most visitors to Cannes, and hotel-lined La Croisette provides a fine promenade. First popularized by Coco Chanel, Cannes beaches are a huge draw.

Antibes / Golfe juan

Graham Greene, who lived in Antibes for 20 years, considered it a place which had preserved its soul. The southern end of the Cap d’Antibes still has its pine woods and some of the most exclusive mansions on the Riviera. In the morning, cruise around Cap d’Antibes and find the perfect spot for some relaxing sunbathing in one of the many secluded beaches. In the afternoon, stroll around the old town and visit the Musee Picasso, the first ever museum dedicated to the artist. Head back to Monaco the following morning for disembarkation.
